Learning Management System (LMS) or Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is software or an Internet tool that allows the classroom to extend onto the web. This LMS allows a common place for students to go for many classroom resources and also take part in many different activities. Using this, students can access resources unique to their course, complete assignments, post electronic journals and resources, join in discussion forums with other students, contact their teachers and other students via email and more.

When a student first joins LMS they see all available courses in the “My Courses” section of the navigation block via the “My Home” link, but cannot access them. Once a teacher enroll a student or group of student of specific year of study for his course, then those students can participate in that course activities and view resources. They can see their own grades in one place (grade book) and their marks are kept secret from other student. Student can repeat many activities (Lesson, Glossary etc.) as often as they want and can learn more and faster by taking advantages of media, resources (webpage, link, file, folder etc.) and interactive social activities (chat, forum, blog, messaging, wiki etc.) LMS make available and interacting more often with other course members.

Student can customize various sections of LMS, such as blogs, personal profile etc. Each Student must have to complete their personal profile with valid information and should add passport size photo; otherwise teacher will not permit to access course activities. Administrators and Teachers determine how a student enrolls, and what they can do or see in a LMS site. These permissions can vary with each course or with any of LMS's many kinds of activities.
